A morning in a cave, an afternoon on the bay.

The day-trip side of staying with us — iconic Palawan tours, El Nido island routes, the city loop, and the airport van. Booked at the desk, picked up at the door.

How it works

We don't run the tours ourselves. We arrange them with licensed, city-regulated agencies the family has worked with for years — the same vans, guides, and boat captains we'd put our own friends on. Pickup and drop-off happen at our gate. Tell us at the desk, the night before, or in the morning over coffee. Twenty-percent deposit confirms a slot.

Iconic Palawan

Three day trips most guests take.

All include hotel pickup & drop-off, an air-conditioned van, a licensed guide, and lunch (where noted). Rates are per person on a joiner van.

More Puerto Princesa

A few more days worth taking.

Less famous than the Underground River, just as worthwhile. We arrange each through a partner agency — let us know which sound right and we'll quote on the day.

Evening

Firefly Watching at Iwahig

After dark, paddle a quiet stretch of mangrove and watch the trees light up like a slow constellation. Best on moonless nights.

Quote on request — ask at the desk.

Daytime

Mangrove Paddle Boat Tour

A small-boat trip through the mangrove channels with a local guide. Birdwatchers should bring binoculars; everyone else, a hat.

Quote on request — ask at the desk.

Caving

Hundred Caves

A guided scramble through a limestone cave system in Barangay Tagabinet — stalactites, low passages, and a lamp-lit walk with a local guide. An easy half-day near the Underground River turnoff, often paired with a zipline.

Quote on request — ask at the desk.

Coastal

Sabang Beach & Mangrove

A quieter alternative to Honda Bay — the same coast as the Underground River, but spent on the sand instead of in a queue.

Quote on request — ask at the desk.

Early

Birdwatching morning at Iwahig

Same forest as the firefly tour, before it wakes up. A small group, a local guide, a thermos of coffee. Best between November and March.

Quote on request — ask at the desk.

Half-day

Sunset at Mitra's Ranch

Skip the full city tour and just go up the hill at golden hour. Big sky, the city below, a few minutes of quiet before the descent for dinner.

Quote on request — ask at the desk.

Independent

Baywalk & Plaza Cuartel walk

A self-guided afternoon along the bay and through the old plaza. Tricycle there, walk back, dinner at one of the seafood places on the way home.

Free — we'll point you to the right tricycle.

On property

A pool day, a Sabie cupcake, BM Beach

The 4,300 sqm garden, the pool, and BM Beach a kilometer down the road. The simplest day on the list, and often the favorite.

Free — just enjoy your stay.

By the coast

Beaches by van — Nagtabon & the west coast

Nagtabon, Talaudyong, and the quiet west-coast beaches are about an hour over the ridge. We arrange the van and a driver who knows the road; you bring the towels.

Van arranged on request — ask at the desk.

Custom

Something else entirely?

Photography day in town. A market run with the chef. If we can do it, we'll arrange it.

Tell us what you have in mind — we'll figure it out.
