Four ways to gather.

A hall for the ceremony, a room for the board, a pavilion for the principal table, a court for the night.

Venues on the property

The garden was always the point — a half-hectare of trees and open lawn in the middle of Puerto Princesa. Over the years the property made room for four gathering spaces around it: one built for celebrations, one for focused work, one that opens onto the courtyard when the brief shifts, and one for the hours after the sun goes down. Same family, same kitchen, same generator behind it all.

The hall for celebrations

Andrea Garden Hall.

The largest of the four, and the one that carries the weight of the word gathering. Bright and inviting — full natural light through the garden-facing windows, the whole garden just beyond. Up to a hundred and twenty guests for weddings, christenings, fiftieth birthdays.

The room for focused work

Isabel Function Room.

The quietest of the four and the one built for a single long table. Isabel is for conversations that need to be heard — the kind of stillness you can't manufacture in a hotel meeting room downtown. Strategy offsites, workshops, an afternoon of interviews.

Gabe's Pavilion with the accordion doors open onto the courtyard at Ala Amid View Pavilion →

The pavilion that opens to the garden

Gabe's Pavilion.

The newest of the four, and the most flexible. Closed, it's a quiet, air-conditioned room for twenty; open, it becomes the formal end of the courtyard, the place the principal table sits while the rest of the party spills onto the lawn. Built for the days when the brief shifts halfway through.

Gabe's Court open-air courtyard at Ala Amid View the Court →

The courtyard for evenings

Gabe's Court.

An open-air courtyard beside the pool, strung with lights that come on at dusk. Best after sundown, when the heat has lifted and the garden smells of frangipani. Engagement dinners, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners that ran until the staff started politely yawning at 1 AM.
